Acid rain

  Collection Environment video glossary

ACID RAIN results from the mixture of water in the atmosphere and smoke particles from factories and exhaust released into the air. This acid substance, which erodes the stone of cities and attacks lungs, sometimes travels a very great distance. It can poison lakes and forests hundreds of kilometres away.
